How to Create a Booking Type

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on how to create a booking type.
Navigate to the Bookings section.
Click on Booking Types under Dates and Spaces.
To duplicate an existing booking type, use the available options on the screen.
To remove a booking type, click the bin icon and confirm by selecting Archive in the pop-up.
Click the Create button.
In the pop-up window, change the name of the booking type.
Select an emoji that best represents the booking type.
Toggle the switch to set the status to Online.
Choose a new color by clicking the color circle next to the Type Colour field.
Update the Minimum Party Size field.
Update the Maximum Party Size field.
Adjust the Description field to capture the essence of your booking type.
Scroll down to explore more options under Booking Type.
Enable online amendments if desired.
Update the same-day booking message if necessary.
Enable same-day bookings by checking the appropriate checkbox.
To allocate specific tables, click Override to select desired tables and combinations.
To add a cancellation fee, select Cancellation Charges and configure as Per Cover.
For deposit charges, choose Deposit Charges and set as Flat Rate.
If specific party size durations are needed, select Specific Party Size Durations and add them.
Specify service hours and toggle days on or off as required.
Review all settings to ensure satisfaction.
Click the Save button.
Navigate to the standalone booking page.
Access the drop-down menu and click the Select button under Booking Type.
The booking type is now live and active.
