How to Create a Segment

In this guide, we will walk through the steps to create a segment using the platform's interface.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Marketing Section:

   • In the navigation bar, click on Marketing.

   • Select Segments under the Data section.

2. Initiate Segment Creation:

   • In the Segment section, click on the pink arrow located at the top right-hand side of the screen.

   • From the drop-down menu, select From Scratch.

3. Configure the New Segment:

   • In the new segment pop-up, start by entering a name for your segment.

   • Add a fun emoji to personalize your segment.

4. Select Data Points:

   • Click on the pencil icon to access the data points.

   • Find and select the segment you intend to target.

5. Define Segment Criteria:

   • In the pop-up, click on the When drop-down to select the main data point.

   • In the value field, choose the value you want to apply.

6. Create and Save the Segment:

   • Click the Create button to lock in the data points.

   • In the segment interface, click the Save button to save your changes.
